The short answer
Yes. The DMUN Foundation is a working non-governmental organisation whose record is publicly verifiable across the United Nations system: it is the first youth-led organisation to be accredited in over 62 intergovernmental entities and meetings, and its representatives appear on the record of UN meetings, treaty negotiations and international conferences.
A verifiable public record
DMUN was invited by the President of the UN General Assembly to participate in the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, engaged at COP28 UAE as a youth-led civil society stakeholder, contributed three representatives to the Ad Hoc Committee drafting the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation, and delivers statements regularly at UN meetings, all documented in its Newsroom and Publications.
Governance and oversight
The Foundation is governed by a General Assembly of Members and a Board of Trustees, with independent oversight from an Inspector-General and Ombudsman and an Internal Tribunal for the Administration of Justice. Its integrity framework, fraud alerts and policies are published openly on this website.
