The short answer

Yes: everything the DMUN Foundation offers is completely free. There are no registration fees, no membership dues and no hidden costs for any programme, conference or event.

Why DMUN is free

DMUN was founded in response to the exclusivity and high costs of traditional Model United Nations programmes. Its founding promise is free access to diplomacy education for every student, everywhere. The Foundation is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from donors and partners, and its staff serve as volunteers.

What free membership includes

  • Full access to every Foundation conference, event and programme.
  • The right to vote in the Governing Body of the Foundation.
  • Eligibility to stand for election as a Trustee, Executive Director, or member of the Bureau of the Governing Body.
  • A global community of 27,284 members across 172 countries and territories.
