Tierra Monique Sydnor and Deputy Observer Amanda Narhan Pereira addressed the 2025 Constructive Dialogue of the UNTOC review mechanism dedicated to trafficking in persons.
The Constructive Dialogues are the civil-society track of the UNTOC review mechanism, convened by UNODC in Vienna. The Foundation's Vienna office spoke in the 2025 dialogues on both the smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons, urging that prevention strategies engage young people directly.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
