Proposing a Youth Delegate Programme for international organisations

15 July 2025

Executive Director Jaewon Choi presented the Foundation’s proposal to the Permanent Observers of the WSA and IUCN, and held further meetings with the Mission of Portugal and the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation.

The proposal sets out a structured Youth Delegate Programme that intergovernmental organisations can adopt, with selection, preparation and reporting standards. It was presented to the Permanent Observers of the WSA and IUCN, and discussed further with the Mission of Portugal and the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation.

Bilateral meetings such as this one are conducted by the Office of the Executive Director and the Foundation's observer offices, which maintain working relationships with member states, intergovernmental organisations and civil society partners.

The full texts of related statements, submissions and reports are available in the documents library on the Publications page, where they can be filtered by category and year.
